This is how Le Bambole was born between 1970 and 1972. The series * later became a symbol of the 1970s and won the Compasso d'Oro Award in 1979. Find a new look for the finished furniture: all the parts have the shape of a large soft bag. If Le Bambole is taken apart, we will get a single soft bag, because they are naturally "free" shapes, it is difficult to describe in the product drawings, but it is easy to observe and analyze. These products come with removable sleeves. B & B Italia launched Le Bambole in a way related to jeans, the contemporary fashion label. With the contributions of photographer Oliviero Toscani and model Donna Jordan, the company organized a highly creative, distinctive and slightly provocative launch event for the product, again breaking the industry's propaganda practices.
